Friend with symptoms in AZ was negative for all other flu tests and was sent home without COVID-19 testing. Makes sense when they need to save kits for folks who are coming in critical, but AZ has only tested 400 people.

I now know 2 people, one 50+, the other a BABY, who have been told by separate doctors that they may have the COVID-19 virus, but can’t or won’t test them due to low supplies for the tests. Our country needs to figure this f*cking shit out. Every1 with symptoms need to be tested

Husband has COVID-19 symptoms, called dr, offered an email detailing COVID-19 symptoms. No test, of course. Told to call back if 104 temp for 3+ days or cough for 3 weeks.

he’s better now, but upmc decided that my severely immunocompromised father, who is over 60 and has been in the icu three times, and was displaying all the symptoms of covid-19, was not a good candidate for testing!

I officially now know 5 people in my direct circle who are in isolation and experiencing varying symptoms, all of which are consistent with Coronavirus - none have been tested because it’s virtually impossible here in LA unless you need immediate hospitalization.

My aunt has pneumonia in ICU and they refuse to give her a COVID-19 test. She’s on dialysis, is a heart patient, and has asthma. The reason? She “doesn’t have enough symptoms.” Really?! Pneumonia is the thing the virus CAUSES. The thing that KILLS PEOPLE.

A guy at my man’s work has full on symptoms of COVID-19.
His girlfriend and dad (who also works there) also have them.
The CDC shut down the shop for 2 days and will be screening at the gates.
None of those 3 people have been able to get tested or treated.
