Okay so I've been to the walk in clinic twice in 2 weeks with flu like symptoms, difficulty breathing etc. Today they said I " may" have a flu strain they don't test. Said they've had several cases similar. I asked what about the Coronavirus? They don't test for Covid 19 WTH?!

Someone I'm close to, who is 68 and clearly displaying all the symptoms of COVID-19, presented at hospital after being told by 111 to go. They weren't tested but given a chest x-ray, told they 'probably had this virus that's going around' and sent home. Where is UK test capacity?

I was straight up told they won’t do the Covid-19 test on me because I’m not showing severe symptoms.
Do I really have to be dying in order to receive this test? Only symptom I don’t have is shortness of breath/tightness in my chest. I can’t smell or taste anything as well.

Well, I'm feeling better without the fevers. I have Covid-19 symptoms but can't be tested as community infection doesn't fit criteria, so ordered to home rest until symptoms are gone. I urge anybody with even just a sore throat to stay home.

Bruh my friend told me she called Kaiser bc she has covid-19 symptoms and the doctor told her that yeah sounds like she has it, but she's 23 so she should be fine. He also reminded her that they don't have a lot of tests anyway so she should just stay home.
