The recall affects a specific group of Powerwall 2 customers, primarily in Australia, and does not impact the newer Powerwall 3 units.The affected Powerwall 2 units are being replaced under warranty. Tesla has remotely discharged nearly all impacted units in Australia to ensure safety, with remaining units being handled by Tesla Service teams. Affected customers are being notified via the Tesla app.
