Five Star Shellfish Inc. has issued a recall for its Malpeque brand Large Standard Oysters due to a potential contamination with generic E. coli. The product was distributed in Prince Edward Island in Canada.The recalled product is:
- The Large Standard Oysters
- Under the Malpeque brand.
- The size of the oysters varies
- They were harvested on August 13, 2024
- From site PE-1R.
- The product was shipped on August 15, 2024.
The issue was identified by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
