I received this online scam. The message came via Facebook:

"Hi, I am agent smith moore thanks for contacting us we've received your message as we and appreciate you getting in touch.
Please! kindly get back to me with your full-name to check if you're eligible on... See More the program?"

It was forwarded to me from a Facebook friend - turns out the scammers hacked my friends Facebook account and were sending this message from them to their friends, so it seems 'trusted'

This friend/acquaintance is an influential /trused person in the community, not sure if they are targeting these kind of people to hack to improve their scam success rate.
