According to the Austin Fire Department, a train derailed near the intersection of East Sixth Street and Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct 22. and hit a utility pole. Austin Energy’s outage map showed that more than 250 customers in the area were without power as of 6:00 a.m. At 7:30 a.m., the map showed 118 still without power.Outage link: outagemap.austinenergy.com/
