Possible scam for identify theft., West Columbia, SC, USA

As of today, 9/7/23, I have receive (5) packages with phone cords. I did not order these. Shipping date is 7/19/23.

I’m skeptical by nature. Why are we receiving these.

Then it hit me. What if the “sender” got our names and addresses off of a data … See More
breach. If so, what if these cords are a trap.

1-we get too many, we share with family, friends & co-workers.

2-what if there is some built in tracking. If this is possible, the “sender” could retrieve every bit of our personal & financial information This could be identity theft.

I’m keep the packaging, I’m keeping the cords…BUT, I’m not using them.

This is very weird.

Power Outage, State Street, West Columbia, S.C., USA

About 600 customers were affected by an outage in State Street between B and C Avenues in West Columbia. According to Dominion Energy's outage map, customers lost power in the area due to a fallen tree.
