Customers lost power this morning in south Grand Forks. According to Xcel Energy's outage map the outage is affecting 2,400 customers. Power was restored to most areas a couple hours later.

There were as many as 16 outages impacting 7,477 customers, according to the Xcel Energy. A few more outages are affecting Grand Forks and Fargo as well. The cause of the outages is still unknown
