Over 5,000 Xcel Energy customers are without power in north Fargo Tuesday night, Nov. 14, according to Xcel Energy's power outages map. The outages are scattered across the city north of Main Avenue and largely to the east of the North Dakota State University campus.

Around 1600 Cass County Electric customers are without power currently. Reports first came in about the outage at around 7:15 a.m. Monday. The effected area stretches from 32nd avenue south all the way to 52nd avenue south, along either side of 25th street.

There were as many as 16 outages impacting 7,477 customers, according to the Xcel Energy. A few more outages are affecting Grand Forks and Fargo as well. The cause of the outages is still unknown.
