1. Many bays on the storage racks have items being stored on them that are over the weight limit of 5,500 pounds. The horizontal beams flex and forklifts have almost tipped forward when pulling off the materials from the racks. A lot of the racks that are
overweight are near the paint booth. 2. Some employees operating forklifts are not trained or certified. 3. Gloves are not worn when working with chemicals such as, but not limited to, lacquer thinner. 4. In the area where metal is being drilled, employees are not wearing safety glasses or hearing protection. 5. In the CNC department where woodworking is performed, safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves are not worn. 6. Safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves are not worn in the crate building area. Chop and panel saws are used for cutting wood. 7. Face masks are not being worn for COVID-19 (in the office and shop areas) and employees are within six feet of one another.
