There are presses that able you to climb inside while not locked out, this enables the machine to be turned on while someone is still inside. Systex is telling employees that they are following through with Covid cleaning, yet the cleaner that was available was in the break rooms. The hand sanitizer in the front office was recalled due to its ingredients, the safety committee knew nothing about the recall. After bringing this to the attention of the safety head I was asked to be on the committee yet denied by the office for "not knowing what is and isn't safe". When cleaning the spills and the wet-vac is used the discarded water and hydraulic oil mixture is drained into the mop area. They allow people to use hi-lows and walk behinds without a license and training. One of the operators are afraid to use it and she is made too. Packaging not 36 inches away from electrical panel. There are numerous panels on presses open for the 110V current. Hi-lows parked in undesignated clearly marked areas. There are no safety ladders available on some of the presses and employees have fallen and gotten hurt. The issue has also been brought up to the safety head. If they know you are coming to do an inspection or audit, everyone is made to clean and fix or shut down equipment, so it appears it is that way all of the time.
