About 1,200 Eversource customers in Chatham lost power sometime after 9:30 PM Wednesday 15th. According to reports an Osprey nest may have caused a short circuit leading to the outage. Eversource line crews were responding to restore service.

About 3,800 customers were affected by an outage in Chatam Thursday afternoon after a car crashed into a utility pole on Old Queen Anne Road. Eversource crews replaced the broken utility pole. Power was restored to the area.
