There are multiple boil advisories that have been issued across South West Louisiana. There will be a water shut-off for parts of Merryville on Wednesday, Feb. 28, so that repairs can be made. Following the water shut-off in these areas, a boil advisory will be in effect:
Division Street, Henry Street, Brown Street, Hwy 389 south of the railroad tracks. A boil advisory has been issued for parts of Moss Bluff, according to Calcasieu Water Works District 1. Due to a loss of pressure in the area, the following residents are now under a boil advisory: N. Perkins Ferry Rd. from the intersections of Heard Rd. to Sam Houston Jones Pkwy. Noelie St, South, North, and West Borel Drive, Hollow Cove Lane, April Drive, Goodwood Drive. The Town of Basile is informing residents that a fiber boring crew has hit a 4″ water main along Savoy Street today. As a result, the following customers are now under a boil advisory: South Lewis Street to MLK Street, Railroad Street to Highway 190.
