Polk County Utilities has rescinded the precautionary Boil Water Notice that was issued on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. This Boil Water Notice affected approximately 135 service connections in the Rolling Oak subdivision area in northwest Lakeland caused by a water main break.

the roof were not tied off. I stopped and asked to speak to the person in charge. I explained that according to OHSA guidelines those workers om the roof should be tied off. The person in charge assured me that the issue would be taken care of. It never was, so I called and reported the issue to your office. I, however, did not note the information for my records. The gentleman I spoke to assured me it would be investigated.
