According to the Nevada City Fire Department, a fire was reported at the complex on West Main Street. The fire caused more than 2,700 Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) customers in the downtown area to be without power on Tuesday 27th.

PG&E said Saturday a majority of the 23,000 power outages are in Nevada County. In Grass Valley, power lines are tangled like yarn around tree limbs. The heavy snow snapped trees and power poles bringing down power lines.
