Storms that moved into the Lake Area caused numerous power outages. The majority of power outages are currently in Benton, Hickory, Morgan and Camden Counties….most of which are with area electric cooperatives. Evergy, who also serves portions of the Lake Area and manages the power through Truman Dam had the largest power outages in the state…with well over 150,000 outages stretching from North of Clinton up into Kansas City.
