An estimated 144 customers were without power in downtown Spartanburg for most of Saturday morning, according to Duke Energy estimates. When power was lost, nine outages were reported in the central downtown area from E. St. John Street down South Church Street with the W. Main and Broad Street areas being most heavily affected.
