Officials with the City of Akron Water Supply Bureau lifted the boil water advisory Tuesday morning for Cuyahoga Falls and Boston Township residents affected by Sunday’s water main breaks. There were two separate water main breaks on Akron Peninsula Road near Bath Road on Sunday.

Nearly 150 Akron municipal water customers in Cuyahoga Falls and Bath will lose service until repairs are expected to be completed Sunday afternoon following an early morning water main break on Akron-Peninsula Road near Bath Road.

A boil alert will be in effect until further notice.
