According to Fergus Electric, the severity of the wind, coupled with the heavy, wet snow, has caused many power poles to break off. The conditions are proving to be challenging for the line crews. Visibility is poor and in several areas, the snow is deep, wet, and heavy making it difficult for the line crews to get access to the outage sites to make repairs. The earliest estimated timeline for restoring power is Friday, May 10, 2024, for the Piper cutoff area, North of Cheadle, and Red Hill Road.

Thought I was ordering clothes from JCPenney. Waited over one month and got a notice that it was delivered, but nothing has ever been received. I am now disputing the charge on my credit card. Whileer is offering 60% refund. That is also a scam as noted online when you look up JCP USA&CA
