A planned outage has been scheduled for North Topsail Beach on Friday, May 17. The outage is planned for midnight and should be completed by 4:00 a.m. while crews install transmission sectionalizing switches. Substations at Bridge, Percy Jenkins, Sneads Ferry, Wheeler Creek, and Chadwick Acres will be affected, as well as services along New River Inlet Road in North Topsail Beach and Island Drive to the Surf City town limits.
