More than 11,000 customers in the Morgantown area were without power Tuesday afternoon after severe weather rolled through the area earlier in the day. According to Mon Power’s outage map, 11,839 customers in Monongalia County are without power as of 5:00 p.m. Several tree-down calls were reported to Monongalia County 911 Tuesday afternoon, including one in the area of Brookhaven Road which has shut down traffic in the area.Outage link: outages-mdwv.firstenergycorp.com/
