Power outages have been reported across the Kansas City metro area as powerful storms continue to move through the area. According to The Evergy outage map, a significant power outage was reported near Leawood South and Mission Lake just after 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. About 1,000 customers have been affected. On Sunday morning, customers are also affected in the Kansas City area. Crews are working to restore power to customers affected.
