A series of lightning storms in the Puget Sound region has left thousands without power Wednesday morning.Fife, Dash point, Browns point, at least 9,000 customers are without power. In Tacoma, nearly 10,000 customers were without power due to the thunderstorms, Tacoma Public Utilities reported at 9:50 a.m. About 2,000 people in South Kirkland are without power.A transformer blew near Google’s Eastside campus. Puget Sound Energy said it was caused by a bird or an animal. And on Vashon Island, nearly 7,000 PSE customers don’t have electricity.
