Reports of downed trees, limbs and branches and downed power lines dot the region. More than 10,000 Indiana Michigan Power customers are without electricity in the Michiana area. Nearly 27,000 I&M customers are without power in the Fort Wayne area. Around 27,000 NIPSCO customers are also without power. Midwest Energy reports around 7,000 customers without power in Southwest Michigan.
