Officials in Cushing are planning to shut off power to a section of the city on Monday while crews work to replace power poles in the area. The City of Cushing Police Department said the area south of East Main Street to East 2nd Street, and between North Seay Avenue and Linwood Avenue will be without power for three to four hours, starting before 10 a.m. In addition, city officials said the area south of East 2nd street to East 9th Street, between South Central Avenue and South Little Avenue, will also be without power during that time.
