North Carolina, United States

On Thursday morning August, 8 there were power outages across eastern Carolina amid Tropical Storm Debby. The following counties were affected by power outages:
Duplin County - 535 customers affected.
Franklin County- 3,157 customers affected.
Johnston County- 719 customers affected.
Onslow County - 1,049 customers affected.
Sampson County - 1,328 customers affected.
Wayne County - 514 customers affected.
Wilson County - 2,034 customers affected.
According to the City of Wilson, Wilson Energy is working to restore power for approximately 2,000 customers and 17 utility poles that need to be replaced.
