Colon, 49040 Michigan, United States

Severe weather including thunderstorms and possible funnel clouds rolled through West Michigan Wednesday night, prompting the National Weather Service to issue several severe weather warnings and watches. No injuries have been reported as a result of the storms, but there are scattered reports of property damage and power outages, knocking out power to just over a thousand residents. The National Weather Service was expected to survey damage near Colon in St. Joseph County after reports of a tornado touchdown and damaged property in the area.
