An estimated 2,000 customers were without power in Concord Tuesday afternoon. According to city officials, the outage was reported around 3:45 p.m. on April 23. It’s affected the Church Street North corridor just north of downtown. The outage was caused by a fallen limb due to the wind. Officials said the power was briefly restored at 4:10 p.m., but it went back out again before finally being restored around 5:00 p.m.Outage link: outagemap.concordnc.gov/
