Nearly 2,000 are without power Friday afternoon between Gaston and Cabarrus counties, according to Duke Energy. More than 1,000 customers are without power in the Concord area. In Gaston County, more than 900 are without power in the McAdenville, Lowell area.

I received a charm that I didn’t order. Was confused why I received it. Has not asked for money just can’t figure out why it was sent to me. Got a package in the mail that I did not order from Carrie Bonkiewicz that I did not order. It was a charm made of leather.

There were more than 50,000 power outages in the Charlotte area Monday just before 6 p.m., according to Duke Energy.
