A major power outage in the Salt Lake Valley affected more than 22000 of customers on Monday morning and caused issues at multiple intersections. Two clusters of outages impacting the most people were reported just a few minutes after 5 a.m. One left nearly 4,000 customers without electricity in the Pioneer Park neighborhood, and another 2,400 lost power in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. By 6:15 a.m., that number had grown to more than 8,000 as approximately 1,600 customers lost service in a series of smaller clusters that spanned cities near the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley, including West Jordan, South Jordan, Midvale, and Sandy. Additional outages were reported in Magna, Holladay, and Tooele, and just over 100 customers had service interrupted in Farr West, where RMP was doing scheduled maintenance.

HUGE theft issue at that location. This is why UPS and FedEx are both doing a bang up business. Meanwhile, the state and federal governments expect us to have trust when we use absentee ballots for elections. What a total joke.
