A stormfront produced high winds and knocked out power for thousands of Livingston County residents late Monday afternoon. Outage maps from DTE Energy and Consumers Energy reported outages in the Brighton, Howell, Pinckney, Fowlerville and Hartland Township areas, as well as other local communities. The company reported more than 213,000 customers in Michigan lost power, as of about 8 p.m. Consumers Energy reported more than 159,000 customers including some residents in and around Unadilla Township.
