According to Duke Energy’s outage map, scattered power outages affected about 5,231 customers in Charlotte on Tuesday afternoon, July 23. The most affected areas are Bradfield Farms, Marlwood, and NoDa. The estimated time for restoration is currently unknown. The outage in Marlwood was caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging electric equipment. The outage in NoDa was caused by an object coming into contact with power lines.
