Horry Electric Cooperative has over 48 outages across the county causing more than 3,600 customers to be without power with a concentration of customers affected in the Aynor and Longs area. There’s no timeline on where that power will be restored. Santee Cooper has reported more than 16,000 customers in Surfside Beach are reporting outages.
