The last few times I have gotten broccoli at a few different grocery stores especially at the Fry's location grocery stores I have found what appears to be worms/caterpillars burrowed in the broccoli and on it from the outside including a cocoon. Make sure to regularly check all your produce that your about to buy before hand especially if you get your groceries by Instacart keep a record of your receipts in case you have to make a return/refund.
