I got my one and hopefully done J&J vax yesterday. It is now 30 hours later. Not going to lie, the shot itself hurt and burned. It was deep in my left arm muscle. I thought for sure my arm would be rendered useless for days but it is actually ok. I couldn't sleep on it last night but it has been fully functioning with very little noticeable pain. About 2 hrs later, I noticed a loss of appetite and very slight nausea but also thought it could've been from my anxiety and anticipation that I was going to feel unwell very soon. I was able to eat just fine. About 4-5 hours after my shot, I noticed that I was more tired than usual but again rationalized that as being overly anxious and my Spring allergies that are starting to develop. I did go to bed about an hour early but did not sleep well. That could've been because of my anxiety and slightly achey arm that I couldn't lay on. I woke up as usual and felt off. I was fully functioning but felt like my body was more sluggish and slower. It was clearly telling me that it was doing something that needed all of its energy and it wasn't going me to do much else today. I was able to get the kids to school and go about a few duties around the house but felt that my body needed rest and sleep. Thankfully, I cleared my calendar for the day. I went back to sleep for 3 hours! I never do that! I continued on with a few more odds and ends around the house but quickly found my body slow and sluggish again along with a few dizzy spells. I've been resting the rest of the day with minimal activities. Not sure if this will go into tomorrow but I also cleared my day for tomorrow. So a little nausea, little dizziness, restless sleep, feeling slugish and unwell, very little appetite but no fever and no feelings of awfulness have occurred yet. I would definitely clear your schedule for atleast a day and rest. It's very clear that the body is doing something in there and it's using everything its got. You'll feel exhausted doing anything. Just rest and let your immune system do its job. Good luck!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Dizziness, Fatigue, Loss of Appetite, Body Ache, Soreness
