1. The employer is not complying with the Governor's COVID-19 mandate in regard to employees quarantining after they return from out of the country. An employee of MasterCorp inc. returned from Cuba on December 22, 2020, and following news of that return, the controlling employer Marriott instructed the employee to leave the property. The employee was originally told to return to work January 4, 2021 by the employer. However, on December 30,2020, the employee was contacted by management and other employer representatives and directed to work at a different property. 2. The employer is not complying with the Governor's COVID-19 mandate in regard to employees quarantining after they return from out of the country. A manager returned from Mexico on September 1, 2020. On September 5, 2020, the manager returned to work in lieu of following the quarantine guidelines. 3. On November 24, 2020, a house keeper was directly exposed by a positive COVID-19 family member. When this information was communicated to MasterCorp Inc. management, they informed the housekeeper to return to work. On November 27, 2020, the controlling employer Marriott assessed the employee and directed the employee to leave the property in accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines. 4. Employees are concerned that the personal protective equipment provided for the purposes of sanitizing high-touch surfaces is inadequate and no additional protective equipment is provided.
