'- City Hall office employees returned to work a month ago with a promised the Michigan covid guidelines would be followed to keep them safe, such as always wearing a facing covering, except when working alone at their desk where they could maintain six feet of separation from coworkers. - Currently, there are some employees and other people attending meetings, or walking through the building that are not wearing a face covering. - Water department employees do not wear a face covering when they enter City Hall to use a shared non-color printer and postage machine. - Employees use a color printer within one foot of the City Manager's secretary. The secretary never wears a face covering and does not practice proper hygiene when coughing. This person discourages other people from wearing a face covering. - Mandatory face covering signs were posted on the entrance doors at City Hall on 7-6-20. The City Manager removed the mandatory face covering signs because it could not be enforced. The sign was changed to one that encouraged the wearing of a face covering. - Employees were informed the covid guidelines were being challenged in court, so most guidelines are not being followed, or do not apply anymore. - There is no protocol for contact tracing in the event an employee tests positive for covid-19, and no daily entry self-screening protocol with temperature taking. - Some employees are permitted to work from home but are often called back to the office.
