Regulatory Report
415 Tumwater Boulevard Southwest, Tumwater, 98501 Washington, United States
'- No MSDS sheets for the cleaning chemicals - the hand sanitizer and the blue cleanser concentrate. - Employees are unaware of what the blue cleanser is comprised of. The label does not include the contents. - No surface disinfectant provided. - At least 27 staff members are being required to take home microfiber cloths (used for dusting) to launder them. The towels are collected in a bucket throughout the week and then taken home to be cleaned over the weekend. There is no cleaning solution in the bucket. - We were sent cardboard boxes that were to be used in place of plastic courier boxes. We cannot ergonomically lift the cardboard box out of the book drop - staff have been unloading the book drop and transferring the items to the cardboard boxes on the quarantine table. This means staff, though wearing gloves, are handling every single item that is going into quarantine at least twice. Once to remove the book drop, and again to place in quarantine. - Each staff member was provided two face masks. All of the masks provided were the same size, and are not designed to go under the chin. - Every library branch was supplied with one Plexiglas sneeze guard in a flimsy frame. We have no way to attach the sneeze guard to the desk and it can easily be knocked over.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-07-21
