'- An employees spouse has Covid-19 and the employee still comes to work and talks to customers, employees, gets in customers cars, etc. - Another employee called into work saying they had all symptoms of Covid-19 and yet again nothing was taken serious. That employee had touched, breathed handled, and the list goes on, the day before. Approximately less than 12 hours before calling in. - That week another employee began experiencing Covid-19 symptoms. That employee left even though the manager at the time tried to get them to stay. When other employees showed their concern to the managers that were present, they told the employees that coughing and feeling sick was normal around this time of year and that we will not close down unless those employees have proof of covid test. That is putting every single one of the employees at risk as well as the customers there. - Employees get in and out of customers vehicles everyday every minute of the work hours. The whole shop has not been disinfected, not once. Management said if it were to come down to shutting down, than it would only be for 3-5 hours for a 'quick run through' to spray and disinfect all doors and keyboards and computers. Which the whole shop should be disinfected as well as staying closed for a 24-72 hour time period for a good solid clean and then employees should be getting their temperatures checked before clocking in. Belle tire in Bloomington has been a toxic work area through the whole pandemic and it is putting more and more people at risk. - Employees have been threatened with punishment if they were to call someone to evaluate this matter. If they check yes to the covid checklist then they get sent home with being fired a possibility.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-12-05
