In the 2nd Floor Laboratory: 1. The employer does not provide safety glasses and/or a face shield for employees who draw blood. 2. The employer does not adequately clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as chairs, bedside tables, center island, blood-processing counters, and centrifuges in areas where COVID-19 testing and research are performed. The COVID-19 Rapid Test machine is not adequately cleaned/disinfected. 3. The employer does not have a Bloodborne Pathogens written exposure control plan. 4. The employer allows employees to eat and drink in the laboratory near patient blood samples. 5. Tepid water is not provided for handwashing. 6. Biohazards such as, but not limited to, used blood draw tubes are discarded into the eyewash station and handwashing sink and are not discarded and/or sanitized properly. 7. Research kits are stored too close to the fire sprinklers.Alleged Hazards: 6, Employees Exposed: 75
