The City of Rich Hill is implementing a boil water advisory following a water leak, the city’s fire department said Wednesday 8th afternoon. The City of Rich Hill said the boil water advisory accompanies a Stage 1 Water Conservation, which includes voluntary conservation through:

Not washing sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, patios or other paved areas
Not filling or refilling the water in swimming pools
Not using water for recreational purposes like waterslides or yard play
Not commercially washing -- except from a bucket -- cars, other vehicles, trailers or boats
Not using water for dust control and
Not flushing mains by Water Department personnel other than to alleviate individual water quality problems.
