Authorities have issued a boil water advisory for customers served by Brookesmith Special Utility District, PWS 0250004. The boil advisory has been issued as a precaution after a drop in water pressure. The areas affected are ones that lost water pressure or water on October 17, 2023: CR 554, CR 553, CR 225, FM 45 E, FM 45 S, FM 45 N, Vick Dr., CR 237, Oak Hill Rd., Spring Hollow, Country Club Dr., Tanglebriar, CR 265, CR 263, Mills County CR 441, FM 586 E, CR 229, CR 226, CR 228, CR 231, Comanche Rd., Apache Rd., Arapaho Rd., CR 232, CR 233, a portion of Hwy 377 S starting from the corner of Hwy 377 S & FM 45 going South to the intersection of CR 212 & Hwy 377 S, FM 586 W, a portion of FM 1176 starting from the corner of FM 1176 & Hwy 377 S going West to the intersection of FM 1176 & CR 170, CR 200, CR 201, CR 202, CR 203 and a portion of CR 234 starting from the intersection of FM 1176 & CR 234 going North to the intersection of CR 234 & CR 199.
