Xingwenfeng has issued a recall for nvyue Magic Pocket Staffs due to projectile and laceration hazards. The product was sold online on the Amazon website in the United States from September 2020 through March 2026. The recall affects approximately 25,000 units.HAZARD:
The safety pin mechanism on Magic Pocket Staffs may not reliably stop the device from expanding unexpectedly, creating a risk of impact or cutting injuries. Even when the mechanism is engaged, the staff can extend so quickly that users have little to no time to react or protect themselves.
AFFECTED PRODUCT
PRODUCT: nvyue Magic Pocket Staffs
- Sold in gold, silver or black colors
- Sold in 110 cm or 150 cm expanded lengths.
- The product arrives as a compressed cylinder, and the protective pin may not fully engage, posing a risk of sudden deployment.
The issue was identified following reports of injuries, including corneal lacerations and temporary vision loss. The recall was announced on April 16, 2026.
