Advertised on Facebook by a company named Rosepros though later I found to be sold under a variety of different company names, I bought a Battery Powered Wood Cutter which after weeks of waiting turned out to be a chain with a ring on each end. Reported to PayPal I am currently litigating the matter and the name Amphitrite Technology Limited is listed as the seller. When the "chain" was received it came in a 4 x 6 in. envelope - clearly not a battery operated chainsaw. The item was shipped from Ecommerce Store out of Lebannon, TN but underneath their label was one that had the tracking number the Seller had given me. When reported to PayPay they noticed the difference in tracking numbers also so I was able to take a photo of the envelope held up to the light which clearly showed the tracking number given by the Seller. I don't know if by the Seller shipping the item to another store which would then cover up their tracking number they hoped to prove I was mistakened on who I got the item from or what but once the photo evidence was provided to PayPal investigators the Seller immediately offered a refund of $25 which was 99 cents less than what was paid. At this time I have not accepted same because with the evidence presented it is obvious this was a scam so why offer less than what was paid unless the Seller is able to claim a satisfied customer by taking the offer. Either way I want to report anybody that attempts to sell a "battery operated chainsaw" for $19.99 when research has shown the item in the pictures sells for over $300. This is purely and simply a scam.
