Power was restored to parts of Skibo and Morganton roads and Glensford Drive after a six-hour outage affecting multiple intersections Saturday, the Fayetteville Police Department said. The first outage was reported about 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Skibo and Morganton roads, according to a news release. Until power was restored, officers had to direct traffic at the intersections of Skibo and Raeford roads, Skibo and Morganton roads, Morganton Road and Glensford Drive, and Glensford Drive and Cliffdale Road, the release stated.
