1: Employees in the facility are exposed to COVID-19. The employer does not ensure that managers are practicing social distancing and/or wearing adequate face covering inside the warehouse as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Applicable OSHA standard: Section 5(a)(1) of the 1970 OSH Act
2: Employees are exposed to potential health and safety hazards due to the employer not performing an hazard assessment in the workplace to determine which hazards are present and require personal protective equipment (PPE). Applicable OSHA standard: 1910.132 3: Employees that are required to work from rolling ladders are exposed to fall hazards due to rolling ladder locking mechanism not being utilized. Applicable OSHA standard: 1910.23 4: Employees that are required to operate and work near forklifts are exposed to struct by hazards due to poor lighting in the warehouse. Applicable OSHA standard: 1910.176 5: Employees are exposed to slips, trips, and falls hazards due to walking/working surfaces not being kept in clean conditions due to cardboard boxes and shrink wrap covering walking/working surfaces. Applicable OSHA standard: 1910.22
