1. The N95 respirators that are obtained from the third floor by the nurses working in the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical Unit, are often faulty and expired. The straps that fasten around the head consistently break, at times, exposing employees as they are interacting with Covid-19 positive patients. 2. Nurses working in the Emergency Room and in the Cardiac Cath Lab have not been fit tested for the N95 respirator currently provide to them. 3. Nurses working in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry Unit, located on the fourth floor, are instructed to use only one (1) gown per shift. After providing patient care, the nurses are asked to doff their gown in the patient room and store them in the patient room. They re-don the same gown when they enter the patient room again to provide care. In some instances, the patient is positive for COVID-19. 4. Nurses working on the Emergency Room, Medical Surgical and Telemetry Unit are not provided appropriately sized gloves, small and extra small gloves are not provided or available for use. 5.
