The Federal Trade Commission reported that the number of complaints about scams involving ads on Facebook and other social media has more than tripled in the past year. A recent Reuters investigation revealed that Meta projected it would earn approximately $16 billion from advertising for scams and banned goods. Facebook exposes users to an estimated 15 billion fraudulent ads daily.

Ordered something from a FB ad that originated in China. Tracking shows the item being in LA and then today I receive a package from “ONLINE SELLER” 3837 BAY LAKE TRAIL #113, NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV 89030 that contain cheap, plastic earmuffs - which is not what I ordered.

So I seen an add thru facebook for this fire extinguisher and it was straight forward they toke 32.21 out my bank didn't receive any updates been trying for weeks to find out how i could get my money back at least I'm not very happy
