The Federal Trade Commission reported that the number of complaints about scams involving ads on Facebook and other social media has more than tripled in the past year. A recent Reuters investigation revealed that Meta projected it would earn approximately $16 billion from advertising for scams and banned goods. Facebook exposes users to an estimated 15 billion fraudulent ads daily.

Ordered a threadmill off of ad from Facebook. Took 3 weeks to receive a Christmas stocking. Said I could return for the correct item if I paid for shipping to return the item I received. Would cost more to return what I got then what I originally expected.
