The Federal Trade Commission reported that the number of complaints about scams involving ads on Facebook and other social media has more than tripled in the past year. A recent Reuters investigation revealed that Meta projected it would earn approximately $16 billion from advertising for scams and banned goods. Facebook exposes users to an estimated 15 billion fraudulent ads daily.

I have probably lost $59.00 from ordering a knock down price on a so called Balsam Hill Christmas Tree from Costco Wholesale. Colorado Springs. Well I ordered tree on 03/03/2023 from Facebook. Have heard nothing for 6 weeks. My loss I guess. Need to be more circumspect before ordering anything.
